Anyone who wants to work with children or young adults must provide a DBS certificate to prove that they have no criminal record that would exclude them from such a teaching position. DBS stands for Disclosure and Barring Service, which is the government body that carries out checks as to a person’s suitability for certain work.

Protocol developed eSafeguarding – their own online software for DBS applications, which simplifies and speeds up the entire process.

I was asked to create a website to highlight the benefits of eSafeguarding to both indivual candidates and also to organisations looking to process large numbers of DBS applications.
